This is the third in a series of articles exploring truly Canadian wine and food pairings. Wine pairing books are loaded with great pairing combinations. Oysters and Muscadet. Port and Stilton. Champagne and Pringles (don’t knock it ‘till you’ve tried it…). Canadian foods are never part of that conversation and neither are Canadian wines. Yet, it is not difficult to find great pairings when using basic food and wine pairings techniques.

Let’s see if we can find some new Canadian classic pairings!

Patriotic Pairing #3

The pairing this month celebrates two things that are decidedly regional and that both inspire a great deal of passion from the regions where they are produced. It is an ode to central Canadian community, conviction, and continuity. It also brings together two linguistic cultures, which is, like so Canadian eh?
